External Content

We use the "YouTube" platform from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4) to upload and publicly display videos. We directly embed YouTube videos stored on their platform. This embedding displays content from the YouTube website in part of a browser window. However, the YouTube videos are only retrieved when clicked separately. This technique is also called "Framing." When you visit one of our webpages with embedded YouTube videos, a connection is made to the YouTube servers, and the content is displayed by informing your browser.

As part of the use of YouTube, personal data may be transmitted to countries outside the EU/EEA, especially to the USA. Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd. are certified under the Data Privacy Framework Program, so an adequacy decision exists for this transfer of data to third countries in accordance with Art. 45 DSGVO.

Once you start playing an embedded video by clicking it, YouTube stores only cookies on your device in extended privacy mode, which do not contain personally identifiable data unless you are currently logged into a Google service.

The legal basis for the use of the YouTube cookie for the associated storage of information on your device and its subsequent retrieval is your explicit consent under § 25 Abs. 1 S. 1 TDDDG (Telecommunications and Digital Services Privacy and Data Protection Act). The subsequent processing of your personal data is based on your explicit consent under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke these consents at any time by deactivating the cookies in your browser settings or in the privacy settings at the end of this page.
