International Meeting of Authorised Trainers of the Schreibmotorik Institut 2015
A meeting and exchange between the Authorised Trainers of the Schreibmotorik Institut 2015 on the topic of “Strategies for promoting automated handwriting“ took place in Bolzano.
The agenda comprised many important points. First of all, there was a lively exchange about Best Practice when relaying the Writing Motor Skills System according to Dr. Marquardt and the Schreibmotorik Institut. The aim was to intensively exchange varied seminar experiences for nursery school teachers and executives, as well as primary school heads and teachers, and to mutually benefit from the expertise of other participants. The qualified team of the Schreibmotorik Institut, along with the scientific advisory committees were also available to exchange their experiences.
Develop and personally try out new approaches
The second part was more practical – participants developed new approaches and tried them out. The aim was to more flexibly implement exercises for developing motor skills in pre-school children and exercises for promoting motor skills in children who are learning to write, as well as to be able to develop new exercises according to the principles of the Writing Motor Skills System on their own.
In this regard, the Authorised Trainers’ numerous seminar experiences were particularly valuable for different target groups such as nursery school teachers, teachers, heads of schools, heads of nurseries and other types of teacher in various countries.
The next day, all trainers took part in the First International Symposium on Handwriting Skills 2015.
