Second training course for Writing Advisors (IHK = German Chamber of Industry and Commerce)

The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nuremberg for Middle Franconia together with the Schreibmotorik Institut trained nine Writing Advisors.

The trained Writing Advisor (IHK = German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) at specialist dealers advises writing novices and advanced pupils about basic aspects of posture, paper and pen positioning as well as the choice of a suitable writing instrument. In combination with knowledge of the products, the specialist sales person becomes a valued consultant for those learning to write. The training consists of four days attendance and two self-learning days for the participants.

In October, Gerhard Kranz, authorised trainer of the Schreibmotorik Institut imparted the characteristics of writing novices, presented the Writing Motor Skills System according to Dr. Marquardt and the Schreibmotorik Institut as well as the writing analysis tool WritingCoach®, the Lettering Pioneer's Box and the Writing Explorer's Box with practical exercises. Günter Schmid acted as IHK Nuremberg for Middle Franconia contributor and was responsible for the sales information, such as the setup and course of the writing consulting.

Between the days of attendance in October and November, the participants prepared different topics in a self-learning phase. The training concluded November 21st with a written and oral examination which simulated a consultation. Dr.-Ing. Marianela Diaz Meyer, institute director of the Schreibmotorik Institut and Karlheinz Friebe, director of the department IHK Academy Middle Franconia handed over the certificates to the participants.
